Bill Jones

Bill retired after 33 years from Coshocton County Engineer, working on the bridge and road crew. On November 7, 1980, he married Joyce (Mossman) Jones who survives. Bill attended the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene for many years. He loved to be outdoors; hunting and fishing. He volunteered with New Life Ministries for three years but most of all, loved spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, Joyce of 33 years, he is survived by his step-son, Tom (Tara) West of Mount Vernon; step-daughter, Jeanette (Steve) Ward of Owensboro, KY; seven grandchildren, Taylor West, Noah West, Jenna West, Leah Ward, Josiah Ward, Samson Ward and Jordin Ward; one brother, Gene Jones of Canal Lewisville; niece Carrie (Derek) Doty, and nephew, Brad (Barb) Peters. Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Pearl (Wilmer) Peters.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, 1058 Orange Street, Coshocton, with Reverend David Boots and Reverend Larry Lain officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held for Bill on Monday, August 4, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Given-Dawson Funeral Home and from 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.
