Vaughn Houston Phillips, age 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2022. He was born on Easter Sunday, March 25, 1956, in Corpus Christi, to parents J.D. Phillips Jr. and Dorothy Phillips Holder.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Jay Phillips.
Vaughn was a funny, honest, loving, heart-on-his-sleeve father and brother who you could tell your soul to and not be judged. He will be forever missed by his daughter Jennifer Phillips, grandson, Kieran, daughter-in-law Amber Browne of Pearland, TX and brother Jim Phillips of Crossville, TN. He was a 4th generation Corpus Christi native.
A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held for Vaughn at Seaside Memorial Cemetery.
