Old friends will remember her as “Nayoka” an early strong female comic book character. In 1977 she received Christ as her savior; the great highlight of her life was a visit to the Holy Land. She became a member of Women’s Aglow and donated her time and God given talents. She prayed daily for family and friends. In her last days in the hospital, she brought someone to Christ. Hobbies included cake decorating, corsage making, drawing and shopping. Theresa was also distinguished by her bright white hair, which would be complimented and touched by strangers. When dressed in holiday red, she was often approached by children. They were told she was undercover for Santa. Dressing up as Mrs. Santa for the children of Greenwood Library, brought her much joy. Not to be missed were Spanish telenovelas, “Laura” and “Casos Cerrados”. Every rhinestone and sequin had her name. All things bright and shiny made her smile. “I missed you my doctor” was always said to Dr. F. Robb Sherron. She looked forward to her “date” with the doctor. The family thank him and his staff for the compassionate care given to our mother. She will be dearly missed by all who survive her.
