Teodoro Rosales Flores Jr.

“I was blessed with many talents and gifts in my life, some of which were known only to close family and friends, such as drawing, writing music, playing my guitar and “man I tell you what, I even had a garden”. I grew okra and squash, “I mean all the good stuff”. Many others in the community knew me by my other talents, being mechanically inclined and having that drive to help people which lead me to become a successful business man. I owned A-1 Transmission Service for 40+ years. I always loved selling pecans, watermelons and Christmas trees along with other stuff when in season.

My hobbies were hunting, fishing and watching the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys with my dog, Riche, But my Favorite thing to do was being a Grandpa to my 6 grandchildren, how I loved spending time with every one of them, whether it was our meaningful talks to me or just cooking breakfast for them and playing monster. I enjoyed every minute of you all, know that I am watching over you baby June June, Titote, my white meat, Rayden, Khloe, and my honey. I love you very much “my munkeys” till you see me again”.

He was a loving husband, father, and PoPo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro and Juanita Flores; his sisters, Catarina Flores and Rosa Flores.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elida Perez Flores; his Children, Rogelio Flores (Jacqueline), Laura Ann Flores-Lucas and June Alicia Flores-Donato (Ruben); his grandsons, Rogelio Teodoro Miquelio Flores, Rayden Asher Flores, and J. Wesley Lucas III; his granddaughters, Jeannie Juizzette Flores and Khloe Jazzelle Flores. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his brother, Juan R. Flores (Dolores), his sister, Dominga Rivera (Ruben), numerous nieces, nephews, extended family member’s and best friend and brother, Ricardo Barrera.

A visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel-Cheyenne. A continued visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel-Cheyenne with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
