Susanne Anne Van Volkenburg, age 65, of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home Monday, December 6, 2021 in the early morning. Susanne was born September 18, 1956 in Bavaria, Germany to Gertrude Van Derbloemen.

She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, William Van Volkenburg, her mother Gertrude Van Derbloemen, her daughter Dawn Michelle Lewis, Son in law Brian T. Lewis, and 3 grandchildren: Steven Anthony Lewis, Courtney Taylor Lewis, and Carley Rae Lewis.

Brother’s Robert Kaatz and QT Kaatz; nephew Robert J. Kaatz, niece Robin L. Kaatz, and sister Gertrude.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411 followed by Interment at 1:00 p.m. at Veterans Cemetery, I.H. 37 access road, Corpus Christi, TX.
