Steven J Gonzales

Steve J. Gonzales, 60, passed away on July 19, 2015. He was born on April 27, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Steve was a much loved father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Foy H. Moody High School class of 1974. He was the captain of the Trojan football team proudly wearing #71. He was employed by Fleet Pride for over thirty years. He enjoyed spending time with the family barbecuing, playing softball and watching sports. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy Fan and an avid Moody High School sports fan. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity and the love for his family.

He was preceded in death by parents, Seraphio and Josefina Gonzales.

He is survived by his wife, Blanca Gonzales; two sons, Luis (Martha) Gonzales and Jaime Hernandez, two daughters, Melissa (Danny Lozano) and Bianca Gonzales; two brothers, Johnny (Clarissa) Gonzales, Sr. and Edward (San Juanita) Gonzales; sister, Norma (Javier) Palacios; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 5:00 pm with A Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Services will conclude after.
