Sharon Beth Ham, also affectionately known as “Cricket,” was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and caring friend to many. She left this world and went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2022, at the age of 73 after her battle with cancer. She was a Christ follower and accepted the Lord as her Savior at a young age.
Sharon was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 8, 1949, to John and Eunice Morgan. She was the youngest among her two sisters, Betty and Linda. She attended school at Tuloso Midway High School where she participated in the band and performed as a twirler. She also enjoyed playing basketball on her high school team.
Sharon met James Ham, her husband of 40 years, and married him on February 12, 1966. Together they lovingly raised three girls, Jamie Marlene, Angela Rae and Hayley Marie. She celebrated and adored her six grandchildren, Wesley, Justin, Brady, Grace, Bryce and Britt with all her heart and soul. She had a deep-rooted love for her family and never failed to let them know how proud she was of their accomplishments.
Those that had the pleasure of spending time with Sharon would describe her as sassy, outgoing, friendly, accepting of others, supportive and someone that loved to have FUN. She was always honest and forthcoming with her words and opinions. Even after many trials with her health and the loss of her husband, she always kept her sense of humor and desire to live life to the fullest. Her talents included painting, cooking, sewing, gardening and decorating. She also loved to travel and was always up for new adventures.
