Santos was loved by many, he enjoyed making people laugh, listening to music and also barbequing and loved to go fishing. Santos also worked for Church's Fried Chicken for many years where he met the love of his life, Josie. He will always be remembered for having such a kind and huge heart. Santos will be dearly missed by so many and will leave behind such beautiful memories with us all. He was a loving husband, step-father, uncle, brother and an awesome grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Delia Bazan; father, Guadalupe Mireles and twin sister, Andrea Mireles.
He is survived by his wife, Josie; brother, Jose Bazan from Corpus Christi; three step-children, Christine Sanchez, Steve Sanchez and Melinda Sanchez; 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send out a special thanks to Kindred Hospice for making him feel comfortable at home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ruben Ortiz, Robert Briones, Jose Bazan, Jay Cantu, Manuel Villarreal and Brino Cantu.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St., on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
