Hello Padrino,
Still hard to believe it’s been two years since you went to your heavenly home.  Miss you and think of you often.  Hope you are enjoying being with your loved ones.  I still  remember you sitting around our table having coffee with your Compadres, eating pan dulce y platicando. Maybe making plans to go to the Casinos!

Dear Padrino, I remember all those days that we would talk and eat homemade cookies that you and my madrina would make! You were the best padrino I could ever have. Thank you for always being there and being there for my mom. You lived next door to us and it was a blessing to see you. Now that I see your house it makes me sad to not see you there, but I will always remember you as the way you were a strong, and caring man, always watering your plants, taking care of your lawn, your house, making us our favorite cookies with my madrina. I love you padrino, rest in peace you will forever be in our hearts. ❤️ 

Miss him his smile and laughs..most all his sence of humor ..got to know from our yearly fish fry..at st joseph church i would go by his house when ever i had a chance..we share fond memories of the fish fry love you both with all my heart😇😇🙏🙏

Dear Padrino, you will truly be missed.  I remember the times when you and Madrina would come around Thanksgiving and Daddy had tickets to the COWBOY Game.  Madrina, Rosemary and I would be rooting for the BOYS and you would make fun and cheer for the Oilers!  I know you did that just for fun!
I also remember eating at Mi Tierra's in San Antonio and the Mariachi guys kept interrupting the conversation to play a song!  You asked for your favorite - Lejos the Aqui !  We all laughed and still laugh at that one.  I hope you are together with all those you love, say Hello to my Mom and Dad.  I'm sure your cousin Maria was expecting you to bring some pan de polvo or empanadas. I hope you said hello to Grandpa George, we wouldn't want you to get in trouble!

My deepest condolences to Santos, Jr. and family on this great loss.


Even though he wasn't my godfather he always made me feel as if I was. He made many trips to the valley with us, one trip back we were stopped at the border and asked if we were all US citizens, and border patrol was looking at Santos until he said "yes sir" I am a US citizen. We all laughed about it after, he called me lead foot because with me at the wheel we could make it to San Juan much faster. My deepest sympathy to the Martinez family, he will be missed.
