Santos Cruz was called to the Lord on January 9, 2014 at the age of 73. He was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico to Ignacio Cruz and Eladia Gonzles Cruz on April 4, 1940. Santos was loved by many for his kindness and caring heart and of course his quick-wit. He owned and operated Cruz Enterprises, dump trucks and heavy equipment
Mr. Cruz was preceded in death by his son Santos Cruz Jr., brother, Porfirio Cruz; sister, Petra Cruz; brother, Juan Cruz; sister, Juanita Cruz Cobo; sister, Eugenia Cruz; father Ignacio Cruz and mother Eladia Gonzalez Cruz.
He survived by his life companion Frances Rugeley and her family; his son, Luis Cruz (Lydia); son, Edgar Cruz; son, Fernando Cruz; Daughter, Carmen Cecilia Grossman (Karl) and close family friend- Stephanie Clayton and her children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. with a chapel service at 2 p.m. following interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
