Sammie O. Stakemiller

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sammie. She loved exploring with different crafts, experimenting with new hobbies, was always being creative and had a never-ending curiosity about how things work.

Sammie generously volunteered her time to many good causes including Alzheimer's Caregiver Support, Driscoll Children's Hospital, and anyone who needed a hand. She was a kind, compassionate human being, a wonderful mother, and wife, and will remain in our hearts forever, never to be forgotten.

Sammie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo Stakemiller, and her daughter, Susan Quinn, both of Corpus Christi. Funeral services will be held at noon at the First United Methodist church chapel on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Services are entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
