Ruben Ortiz Sr. passed away on September 14, 217 at the age of 57. He was born on January 17, 1960 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Geronimo and Lydia Ortiz. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Geronimo Ortiz Jr. and sister, Concepcion Marban.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Ortiz; sons, Juan Miguel Morin and Ruben Ortiz Jr.; great-niece, Laura M. Vega; brothers, Carlos Ortiz and Juan Jose Ortiz of CC, TX, Cesar Ortiz of CA and Jose Ortiz of Donna, TX; sisters, Catarina Ortiz of Rio Bravo, MX, Angie Davila, Patricia Martinez and Flora Torres of CC, TX. There are also numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Services will conclude afterwards.
