Rosalio (Ronco/Mr. V.) Villarreal Jr., passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the age of 84. Mr. V. will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather for his strong compassionate and loving character, and his love and devotion for his family. He worked for many years at Champlin Refinery. Once retied, he found himself missing the workforce and began working for West Oso I.S.D. at J.F. Kennedy and Skinner Elementary.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, sister, and one son, Rodolfo Villarreal.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years of marriage, Eudelia (Lela) Villarreal; children, Jose Angel (Maria) Ocanas of San Juan, Texas, Jose Angel (Diana) Villarreal of Skidmore, Texas, Blanca Rivera of Corpus Christi, Texas, Hilda Caldera of Palestine, Texas, Julio (Tionette) Villarreal of Skidmore, Texas, Martha Villarreal of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rosario (Dave) Gonzales of Palestine, Texas, Norma (Mario) Pena, Mary Alice (Benny) Leal, Robert (Cynthia) Villarreal, Ricardo (Vanessa) Villarreal, Rene (Melissa) Villarreal, Roel (Amy) Villarreal, and Kimberly (Adam) Herrera all of Corpus Christi, Texas; 41-grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with in interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Condolences can be made at www.memorygardensfuneralhome.com
