Rosalie H. Cole, 93, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was called to her heavenly home on April 22, 2022. She was born in Kurten, Texas to the late Theodore and Minnie Hinz on November 20, 1928. She married the love of her life, the late Hollis Cole, on October 4, 1945.
Rosie loved her Lord and Savior and was an active member of Calvary Tabernacle Church for many years. She was a housewife for many years and entered the workforce as a Weigh Clerk at Producers Grain Port Terminal. She later became owner at H&R store along with her husband.
She loved working in her yard, gardening and planting flowers. She loved visiting with family and friends, in person and by phone, and she especially loved watching old John Wayne movies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Minnie Hinz; husband, Hollis Cole; brothers, Gus, Walt and Fred Hinz; sisters, Emily Hardin, Myrtle McDonald and Corabell Hinz.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Miller of Corpus Christi and son, Curtis Cole (Joy) of Jacksonville, Florida. She will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren, Curtis Gilcrease of Corpus Christi and Curtis E. Cole (Tera) of Jacksonville, Florida; Rhonda Rosene (Jeff) and Stacey Placker, both of Corpus Christi, Texas and Tina Nitz (Christian) of Jacksonville, Florida. Rosie is also survived by her sister, Pearl Williams of Hearne, Texas; 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 starting at 8:30 AM. Funeral Services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
