He is preceded in death by his wife Roselie Nelda Grande-Cruz as well as his parents Gilbert Cruz Sr. and Rosa Longoria, his sisters Teresa (Henry) Guerrero, Yolanda (Hipolito) Alaniz, Margarita (Jose) Villegas, Rebecca Cruz (Larry) and brothers Gilbert Cruz (Mary), Reynaldo (Margaret) Cruz, Cecilio (Connie) Cruz, and Roberto Cruz.
Rolando Cruz Sr. is survived by his two sisters Mary Lou (Ruben) Flores, Rose Marie (Rumaldo) Bustamante, brother Alejandro (Jane) Cruz, his sons Rolando Cruz Jr ( Irma), Peter Cruz, Cat Cruz, Roy Cruz (Evon), daughter's Michelle (Joe) Hernandez, Grace Cruz, Cynthia Cruz (Edward Morgan), Angela Rose Cruz, as well as many other nieces,nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Rites of a christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
