He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan L Martinez and Cleotilde Grande, brothers Johnny G Martinez and Narcisco G Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Yolanda G Martinez; 7 children, Robert (Dahlia)Martinez, Laura Ann (John) Schuman, Yvonne(FP) Scoggins, JoAnn Martinez, Irene Gunn, Patricia Ann(Julian) Longoria and Monica (Roy)Wilt; 22 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and half-sister Gilda (John) Mendiola.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
