Robert J. Garza

With broken hearts and tears in our eyes, on April 16,2015, our beloved brother, Robert J. Garza went to dance through Heaven’s gate to reunite with our beloved mother, Maria Antonia Rios Garza and brother, Eduardo Garza.

Robert was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 30, 1966 where he began to learn his love for music, dance, and baseball. He earned his Bachelor degree in Business and Finance from the University of Texas-UT Austin. He traveled the world to spread his wings, fortunately for his family job prospects led him back to Texas. He no longer sings or dances for us, for he has taken his last bow. Now he’s singing praises with His Grace and dancing with the angels too. Robert will be deeply missed and remembered for his love of family and friends. He leaves his loving family behind to cherish his memories and carry his legacy of class.

He leaves his sisters; Dalinda Quintanilla (Guadalupe), Celinda Cantu (Emilio), Melinda Lucio (Tony), Hermelinda Torres (Joe) and Ernestina Figueroa (Abraham) and brother Enrique Ernesto Garza; an abundance of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
