He was born on April 3, 1929 to Cesario and Dorotea Gonzales.
He was a hardworking man for Del Star and Sharon Manor Apartments as a painter for many years. He loved to bar-b-que and enjoyed dancing every weekend with his wife. He was a devoted member of Templo Centro De Fe where he was a founding member. He enjoyed his time serving at the church and partaking in the festivities.
Ricardo is preceded in death by his Father, Cesario Gonzalez; mother, Dorotea Gonzalez; wife, Sarah T Gonzalez; spouse, Irene Gonzalez; brother, Adan J. Gonzalez; sister, Natividad Herrera; daughter, Ana Maria Moreno and grandsons, Ricardo Gonzales and Jose Jesus Mendoza Jr.
He was a loving Father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children; sons, Ricardo (Dominga) Gonzales, Juan (Eva) Gonzales, Robert (Lydia) Gonzales, Armando Mendoza and Jose (Rosario) Mendoza Sr.; Daughters, Mary Helen (Marcial) Sosa, Elizabeth (Benito) Sanchez and Sylvia Mendoza; 29 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and 28 great- great grandchildren.
We would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center for the great care provided to our father. In addition, we would like to thank Harbor Hospice for the excellent care in the last few months. We are forever grateful and thankful for the compassion and care given.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St., Corpus Christi, TX on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 8:15a.m. And Chapel Service at 10:00a.m. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
