He was born in San Benito, Texas on August 24, 1945.
He was married to Linda Reyes on December 17, 1971 and together they raised four children.
Reynaldo worked hard for his family as a truck driver. He took pride in this work and devoted several years to Trout Trucking in Robstown, Texas.
Reynaldo loved spending his time outdoors, whether he was working on his truck or maintaining his yard; he was always doing it with his beloved dog Chapa by his side.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Guadalupe Reyes; brothers, Santiago, Joe and Evaristo Reyes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Reyes; their daughters, Meliza Reyes, Elizabeth Reyes Davis (Aaron Davis), Cyndi Reyes and son, Reynaldo Reyes, Jr.
Reynaldo was also the proud Popo of 8 grandchildren; Jeremiah Reyes, Chelsea Flores, Christina Flores, Vince Gutierrez, Serena Reyes, Ariyana Soto, Jadon Ramirez and King Soto.
Reynaldo was also a great grandpa to Hunter Jax Hogan, whom he called his “Crocodile Hunter.”
Popo loved all his grandchildren and his great grandson so dearly.
He is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Reynaldo will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A Holy Rosary will occur Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
