Rene Jesus Flores

Rene graduated from Robstown High School in 1977. He continued his education, graduating from Del Mar College in 1999 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in computer programming. He also received "Who’s Who" among students in American Junior Colleges of outstanding merit and accomplishment as a student Del Mar College, 1999-2000. He continued his education at Texas A & M University and received his Bachelor of Science in 2005, where he made the Dean’s List, Spring 2002. He was so very proud of his many accomplishments throughout his lifetime.

Rene was a Dallas Cowboys diehard fan and he also enjoyed watching the Astro’s. He loved attending concerts, and was especially fond of 'heavy metal' music. He treasured the time that could be spent with his family, friends, and his dog. He was an amazing man and he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He were preceded in death by his parents, Carolina and Prudencio Flores; sisters, Juanita Flores Ybarra and Irma Flores Valle; and brother, Rafael Flores.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Pete Flores (Evangelina); and many nieces and nephews whom he immensely adored.

A public visitation for Rene will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:15 AM at Robstown Memorial Park, 4607 FM1889, Robstown, TX 78380.
