Raul Hinojosa Rodriguez

Raul worked as a steel builder and also a Farm Rodeo Supervisor.

He had a passion for fishing, dancing, bowling, hunting, and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito Rodriguez and Concepcion Hinojosa; his brothers, Roque Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez, Ernest Rodriguez; his sister, Maria Contreras and great-grandson, Guadalupe Garcia Jr.

Raul is survived by his wife, Maria Rodriguez; daughters, Maria Benita Rodriguez, Concepcion Rodriguez; grandchildren, Stephanie Garcia (Jose Hinojosa), Jose Garcia, Stacey Garcia (Alexander Alvarado), Luis Garcia, Robert Lugo, Raul Mungia, Anastasia Gomez (Jacob Harris), Mitchell Mungia (Anjel Wilson), Maryann Mungia (Mark Sanchez) and brother, Richard Rodriguez. He also leaves behind 11 great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jose Hinojosa, Alexander Alvarado, Luis Garcia, Raul Mungia, Jacob Harris, Mitchell Mungia, Mark Sanchez.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Cheyenne, 549 Cheyenne St., on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St., on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37 at 2:00pm.
