Randy Joe Townsend

Randy Joe Townsend lost his battle in Corpus Christi, TX on May 5th 2021 surrounded by his children that he loved dearly with every ounce of his heart & body. On December 17, 1952 in Dallas, TX Randy was the first born to Maurice W. Townsend & Nancy L. Townsend. Randy’s was always loved as a childgrowing up by both his parents and spoiled by his grandparentslike every grandparent aim to achieve with their grandchildren.As an adolescent Randy enjoyed octane toys, go-karts, motorcycles and fast muscle cars. The love Randy had for his children was unmeasurable to anything on this earth. The dedication he had to his family also reflected in his hard work,to always be “The Man in the Arena”. Randy was a successful business owner for over 3 decades in the transportation industry, servicing & delivering to all regions of America raw goods for everyday necessities. After retirement Randy moved to Fulton, TX to enjoy what he loved the most of our broken world, the ocean, beaches, fishing and his Shamrock boat.

Randy is survived by his Children: Theresa Cox of Emory, TX;Christie Baker of Garland, TX; Joshua Townsend of Waxahachie TX; Tanner Townsend of Royce City, TX. Mother: Nancy Townsend of Quinlin, TX: Sister: Cindy Cooney of Woodland Hills, CA. Grandchildren, Daisy Geiger, Kara Seahorn, Kelsey Woodrum, Baily Geiger, TJ Woodrum, Sofee Baker. Great grandchildren Skylar Walker & Kaison Walker. Life Partner: Debbie Simpson. Celebration of life services will be private services only.
