Ramiro Arismendez

Ramiro Arismendez, 78, passed on April 18, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on March 15, 1936 in Robstown, Texas to Jose A. Arismendez and Manuela F. Martinez. Ramiro was a self-employed plumber; he owned and operated Arismendez Plumbing for over 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Ramiro leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 52 years, Aurora M. Arismendez; his children, Ramiro (Celina) Arismendez, Jr., Elisa A. Elizondo, Jose Angel Arismendez, Carolina A. (Rudy) Riojas, Ricardo (Rachel) Arismendez and Norma Arismendez, 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
