Rafael Gustavo Pena

Rafael (Ralph) Gustavo Pena, Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on 2/25/2024 at the age of 81. He was home at the time of his death, where he was surrounded with love by his son, daughter, and grandchildren. He was born on October 24, 1942 in Tamaulipas.

Ralph, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather is now in the loving arms of Jesus. He was known for his love of family, friends, golf, baseball, and football. He was a wood master carpenter that enjoyed hands on working, remodeling, and building custom homes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Luisa Pena; his previous wife, Norma Pena Purinton; his son, Armando Pena; and his sister, Mary Espinosa. He is survived by his children, Ralph Pena and Sandra Cerda; grandchildren, Robyn, Ryan, Alex, Katy, Marc, Joseph, Isaiah, Matthew, Katelyn, and Avery; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Brynlee, Sean Lee, and Hallee; brothers and sisters, Adalberto, Gregorio, Amanda, Mary Lou, Serapio, Rafaela, and Hector.

Ralph will be missed and he will always be in our hearts.

A public visitation for Rafael will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. An entombment will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
