Paula R Esparza

Paula Ruiz Esparza, devoted wife, dedicated mother, loving grandmother, and faithful sister, peacefully passed away on February 5, 2023, at 84 years of age. She was born in Buena Vista San Luis, Potosi, Mexico, to Cesario Ruiz and Marta Castillo de Ruiz on January 26, 1939. She married Daniel Palomares Esparza on September 14, 1966, and recently celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, brother, several sisters and son-in-law, Alfredo Zamora. Survivors include her husband, Daniel P. Esparza, her five children, Guillerma Elizabeth Esparza de Zamora, Lazaro Esparza, Ruth Esparza Whitmore, Jacqueline Esparza, and Daniel Esparza Jr. (Davina Esparza), 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Rosa Ruiz de Morales and Enriquetta Ruiz de Perez.

Our mother committed her life to her husband and family. She absolutely adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always dedicating herself selflessly to the well-being of her family. One of her favorite hobbies was caring for her plants and flowerbeds, which were often admired by family and friends. Her family and friends always enjoyed the home cooked meals she lovingly prepared. We will miss our mother tremendously and feel honored that the Lord blessed us with such a wonderful mom.

We are forever grateful to Gracia Hospice, whose nurses and providers took such wonderful care of our mother.
