Paul C. Carranza, Jr. passed away March 31, 2012, at the age of 41. Paul’s favorite quote was “God is Good all the time”. Anyone who knew Paul knew his love for God. He was a great husband, brother, uncle and friend whom was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his nephew Elijah Ray Armenta.
Paul leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of twenty years, Corina. Also surviving Paul are his mother, Irma Castillo; his father Paul C. Carranza, Sr, (Oralia); his two sisters, Monica Carranza and Tina Carranza. He will be also be dearly missed by his mother-in-law, Janie Garcia and his father-in-law, who was his dad in more ways than one, Fermin Hernandez; his sister-in-laws, Christina Hernandez and Beatrice Galvan; nephews, Jordan, Julyan, Gabriel, Johnny and his nieces, Angelique and Gabriela; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Paul worked at Glidden Professionals for 20 years, and was loyal and dedicated to his work and his clientele. Paul was an ACTS Brother and very involved at St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church.
Visitation will start at 6:00 pm on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Freddie Perez, Daniel Rodriguez, Felix Ovalle, Rene Galvan, Raul Sepulveda and Jordan A. Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers are Julyan Rios and Gabriel Armenta. The family would like to thank his physician Dr. William Flores and the ICU staff at Christus Spohn Shoreline. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to the Men and Women ACTS retreats at St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church.
