He graduated from Del Mar College where he received an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. He also later attended CCSU. He was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for 36 years.
In his life, Paul loved many things. He enjoyed baseball and he was a huge Houston Astros fan. In his community, he served as a scorekeeper, umpire, Pony League coach and was a member of the Senior League Softball Organization where he served as a manager and player. He also served as President of Central Little Miss Kickball during the 1980s. Paul also loved listening to music, watching sports, being with his family and friends and with his precious dog Lady.
Throughout the years, Paul endured many medical setbacks, but he always somehow bounced back. His beloved wife was at his constant side, taking care of his every medical need. He was strong and a fighter and he never let his illnesses get in the way of enjoying life.
Paul was a wonderful father, and he taught his children to treat others fairly, to get an education, and to slow down and enjoy life and listen to the music. He was a hard worker and he taught his children to be the same way.
Paul was one of a kind. A sweet gentleman. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. He was simply the best. Paul will be missed beyond measure by all who knew him and loved him. His spirit will always be with us in our hearts and minds. In the game of life, he hit a grand slam, and we were all lucky to be on his team.
