He was born on January 15, 1925 to Eusebio Trevino and Victoriana Castro in Taft, Texas.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Great-Great Grandfather and friend.
At 19 years old, he served in the Army in WWII. He received his military training in
Macon, Georgia, and after his training he was stationed in Italy from January 1944 through February 1946 with the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division.
Upon his Honorable Discharge he was awarded, The EAME Campaign Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, World War 2 Victory Medal.
He worked in Agriculture, Construction, Oil Field, and Factory Outlet from where he retired. Because he was caring and compassionate he returned to work part-time as a provider with APC Home Health Services.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking BBQ, visiting the beach, taking long walks, and meeting his friends at the Zavala Senior Center.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Hijinia Garcia, Pedro Trevino, Jose Trevino,
Pablo Trevino, and Sara Salinas.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa Trevino; sons, Johnny Trevino (Yolanda),
Jaime Trevino (Gloria), daughters, Rosalinda Resendez (Ronnie), Yvonne T. Ammuninato (Vincent), Evelyn Gomez (Roberto Carlos), Nancy Sandra Trevino;
Step-children, Jose Flores (Linda), Gregorio Rodriguez (Margaret), Maria Tovar (Eduardo), Soledad Garcia (Roberto), Francisco Gomez ( Silvia), Rosa Gomez (Loretto) Jesus Gomez (Teresa); Siblings, Janie Garcia, Julia T. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 540 Hiawatha St. Corpus Christi, TX 78405. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St. Corpus Christi, TX 78408
