She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Heriberto Tijerina, and two sisters.
She is survived by her children; Felix Tijerina, David Tijerina, Eddie Tijerina, Margaret Morales, Ada T. Pena, Edward Tijerina, Becky Garcia, 22 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service held at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
