Ofelia C. Garcia

December 7, 1933 in Rancho El Tanque, Mexico, to Crescencio and Virginia Castillo.

Her family and friends will dearly miss her. Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband, Israel H. Garcia; Her parents, Crescencio and Virginia Castillo; brother, Roberto Castillo; sister, Felicidad Hinojosa; and granddaughter, Andrea C. Garcia.

She is survived by four sons; Eliazar (Jeanette) Garcia, Ronnie Garcia, Orlando (Laura) Garcia, Roland (Marisol) Garcia; two daughters, Araceli (Daniel †) Moreno, Sandra (Arturo) Sanchez; three brothers, Rodolfo Castillo, Ramiro Castillo, and Osiel Castillo; three sisters; Fernanda Moreno, Catalina Saenz, and Maria Barrera; thirty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Ofelia will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A committal service will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
