Ninfa 'Cookie' Rangel, 63, born on March 6, 1947 passed away on January 15, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesus and Ninfa Rodriguez; husband, John Rangel; son, Johnny Joe Gomez and sister, Linda Mae Mascorro.
She is survived by her companion, Albert Salinas; brother, Jesse (Victoria) Rodriguez; sisters: Mary Lee (Raul) Rodriguez; Delia Garza; daughter, Lisa Loman; sons: Michael Rangel and Johnny Rangel, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service to held at 7:00 p.m., that same evening at Funeraria del Angel Funeral Home, 549 Cheyenne Street.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January, 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., at Funeraria del Angel Chapel.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
