Nicole Sanchez Martinez

Nicole “Nikki” Martinez, 25, went to be with our Lord on July 5, 2010 surrounded by her beloved family. She had worked as a medical assistant at Bay Area Hospital for Dr. Leo Rodriguez for several years. Nicole had a joyful heart and was a very precious individual who loved to be with family and friends. We will miss her cherished heart and memories.

She is survived by her parents; Janie B. Sanchez and Mr. David Sanchez Sr.; husband, Raul Silva III; son, Brandon Silva; Brothers, David Sanchez Jr., Gabriel (Helen) Sanchez, Henry (Joliza) Martinez of Dallas, TX; sister, Melissa Martinez and family from Beeville, TX; Nephews, Patrick, Justin, Austin, and Breydon Sanchez; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Juanita Baldarramos of Beeville and Mr. Louis Baldarramos of New Braunsfel, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins ,nieces, and nephews.

Thanks to M.D. Anderson Staff on the East 10th floor, all relatives and special thanks to Aunt Gloria, Lela, Nancy, Alicia, Betty, Elma, Emma and Uncle Nuno.

Pallbearers will be: Gilbert Herrera, Raul Silva III, David Sr., David Jr., Gabriel, Patrick, Justin and Daniel Sanchez

Visitation will begin at 4: p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday July 7, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church with interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
