I am so heartbroken upon hearing of  the loss of Dr Pacheco.  My heart goes out to   Maria and his children.  His family was everything to him. My deepest sympathy to them and his staff. 
 Dr. Pacheco was one of the most kindest, compassionate, and caring doctors I knew.  He would always go the extra mile for his patients. He really cared for them.  He will be greatly missed. I pray God to comfort Maria and his children at this very difficult time.

I first met Dr. Pacheco, as my VA doctor, after separating from the  military over 20 years ago. Then I had the pleasure of working with him in outpatient surgery for years. I will always remember him as a kind and patient physician, who made his patients and many difficult wounds his priority to heal. I met Dr. Pacheco, a little over two years ago, he was referred to me, he was always nice to me ,patient,always listening to me,my condolences to his family, may God bless him always.

I used to work with Dr Pacheco at the VA clinic in CC. He was such a sweet and caring doctor.  Very easy going.  My wife and I attended his wedding.  I'm saddened  to hear of his passing.  I'll always remember his laid back personality. Take care,  amigo.

I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Pacheco's passing. I couldn't believe it. I had just met him. The first and only time I saw him, I immediately thought he was very soft-spoken, down-to- earth, and that he'd continue to be my foot doctor. He was very knowledgeable and very explanatory. My condolences to Dr. Pacheco’s wife and family! Dr. Pacheco started out as my mother’s podiatrist and he ended up my podiatrist. He was a good Christian man who was calm and soft spoken. He could also joke with me at times. I observed him as an advocate for our military veterans! He was not under my insurance plan and took me as his patient anyway and accepted whatever my insurance would cover. Making money was not his first priority but rather using his skills and serving his patients! The last recent memory I have of him is showing me the photo he took of his wife looking at the traveling first class relic of the arm of St. Jude the Apostle, at Most Precious Blood. He was so proud of that photo and he shared he read every sign of the Saint leading up to the special relic. I’m greatly saddened to have lost an extraordinary doctor but have comfort he’s in heaven with God, The Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and all the angels and saints. He’s now in the company of St. Jude the Apostle himself. No doubt awestruck having a conversation with him! Please pray for me Dr. Pacheco, that I grow in holiness as you! I am greatly blessed to have had you as my doctor in this journey of life!

Doctor Nestor Pacheco was one of my favorite doctors ever. And I see a lot of doctors. 

He was such a good doctor. I didn't have to go back often. Which saddened me.

But when I did go back. He was so kind, caring, attentive and understanding. He had the best bedside manner out of every doctor I've seen. 

My last appointment with him was recent, but was very special to me. He listened to my story. He understood my pain. And he encouraged me to push forward and take action. 

I will never forget that. I will never forget his kind soft voice. 

You will be missed and you are very loved.

Dr. Pacheco treated both my daughter and my husband and he was always a joy. He was always kind,helpful and answered any questions with patience, caring, and respect. He was a kind person and a wonderful doctor. The world could use more professionals like Dr. Pacheco. He will be missed. Nestor Pacheco was well known to my family and my wife was employed in his family practice.He was a very kind and friendly person who treated his employees like family, he was very generous and we enjoyed his company at our home.We met his parents and family as we took part in his wedding ceremonies, we are very saddened by his untimely passing and offer our deepest sympathies to all his grieving family.

He was a GREAT Doc. He was a calm person, listened closely to patients needs, and provided us good advice. He also provided us great medical services at the VA Clinic where I got to know him best. I had used his services prior and continued seeing him at his So. Staples Office. I will greatly miss him. (77yr old Nam-Vet)

I'll never forget Dr. Pacheco's gesture of trust and compassion when he shared his personal cell number with us, ensuring we could reach out whenever we needed support or guidance. That level of dedication to his patients' well being was truly astounding and deeply appreciated.

Dr. Pacheco's passing leaves a void in our hearts and in the medical community. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy of compassion and healing will continue to inspire and comfort those whose lives he touched.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  My brother was a Vietnam vet and saw Dr Pacheco at different times at the VA clinic.   My brother passed away 10 years ago and had the most admiration for him.  I, as a nurse, had the pleasure of taking care of his patients at the hospital.  He was always so pleasant and kind to his patients and nurses.   He will be missed and his talent of taking care of the sick is a big loss for the community.  God bless his family and may he rest in peace.

Dr Pacheco was a lovely man and a dedicated, talented doctor who healed countless patients over the  course of his career. He will be missed. My prayers are with him and  family.

I am sincerely saddened by the death of Dr. Pacheco.  I've known him and worked with him in different roles for the past 20 + years.  He was one of  the best physician's I have ever met and his compassion and care for patients was the best.

My condolences to Mrs. Pacheco and family. I first met Dr. Pacheco as a veteran in 1999. At the time I was having severe pain in my feet. I recall seeing Dr.Pacheco in his private practice and asked him if he saw veterans. He asked if I was a veteran and I replied yes. He then told me to go to the VA Clinic  on Old Brownsville Rd, the following week and to let staff know he wanted to see me. That started a 20 year relationship as patient and friend. Dr. Pacheco, treated so many of  us, and was always kind and compassionate, never a made negative comments. He worked to develop Orthotics that would really help me, and for that I will never forget him. I am saddened that we have lost a wonderful human being and doctor that laid his hands on many of us. He served our veterans and our country. He will be dearly missed.

Today my family and our community lost a true hero. An advocate for patient care at the highest standards who would check his ego at the door and treat patients with dignity & kindness while giving excellent care. He personally saved my husband’s limbs & quite frankly his life. It’s mind boggling to think that thru his life time of treatment & tireless dedication to others that he has saved thousands of life’s. Dr. Nestor Pacheco, I hope the medical community takes notice of what it means to be a true Doctor in your absence and more importantly remembering to be a good human being first. You will be truly missed by David & myself. I want your family to know how grateful we are for your family’s dedication and sacrifices for the benefit and well being of others. We were told that Dr. Pacheco was one of the finest and best podiatrists in Corpus Christi and we found out for ourselves that he was indeed.
