Nelda “Nellie” Alvarez, age 66, passed away in Corpus Christi on Monday, August 31, 2015.
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, she was a LVN nurse at Memorial Medical Hospital and prior with the Hearth Nursing Home. A member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Nellie will be remembered for her strong faith and love for her church family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Beatrice Alvarez.
She is survived by her brother, Jose Alvarez and niece, Diana Rae Alvarez.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday September 5, 2015 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church St. Jude Sanctuary .
