Maxine Lewis Moore, 93, went to be with Our Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 18, 2024 in Odem, Texas. She was born to Edwin and Viola Maggie Lewis on February 2, 1931 in Richland Springs, Texas. She married E.J. Moore, Jr. in April 1953. They lived in Corpus Christi, Texas before relocating to Odem, Texas.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was loved and cherished by all. Together they became the perfect parents to Brent Schaffer (Deceased), Angel (Schaffer) and Walter Gene Coleman of Corpus Christi, TX, Edwina (Schaffer) Morris of Houston, TX, Janet (Moore) and Gary Heath of Corpus Christi, TX, Douglas J. and Christie Moore of Corpus Christi, TX, and Karen (Moore) Larsen (Deceased). She was also Blessed and survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on February 29, 2024 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
