Mattie Lee Hays

She joined her husband, John Eddie Hays that preceded her in death; Several family members: her mother, Lillie Mae Carlisle; her father, Matthew Carlisle; her son, Eddie Carlisle Hays; her sister, Ada Merle Glick; her grandson, Brett Buster; her granddaughter, Bethany Buster.

She is survived by her children, Brad (Marianne) Hays, Stan (Bridget) Hays, and Sandy (Wes) Parkey; sister, Imogene Hellums; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Celebration of Life for Mattie will be held at Brighton Park Baptist Church, 3418 Airline Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78414 on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 2pm.

Services are entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
