Mary Lou Romo Rodarte

Mary Lou Romo Rodarte, 74, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born in Robstown, Texas on April 19, 1949 and lived a life filled with happiness, faith, and love.

She was known for being kind and caring to her family and loved ones, and touched the lives of many through her outgoing spirit and never-ending kindness and love.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Carmen Mejía Romo, and father, Valeriano Romo Sr; husband, Simon Rodarte; and son, John Lee Trevino.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Rene (Diana) Romo Sr; brother, Valeriano “Tim” (Rose) Romo Jr; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mary Lou will be dearly missed, and her legacy will live on through the memories of those who were fortunate to know and love her. May she rest in peace.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A public visitation for Mary Lou will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 4:30 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 5:30 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 6:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
