Mary Louise Hernandez

Mary Louise Hernandez, age 63, passed away on February 16, 2013 at home with love ones after an illness. She was born July 27, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a 1969 West Oso High School graduate and she also tutored students there. She was a Candy Striper at Spohn Hospital, she worked in health care at Hill Haven Nursing Home and Harbor View Nursing Home, and worked in housekeeping at the Sea Ranch Motel.

Mary will be deeply missed by us all. Her devotion to her family and her joy in helping the sick will always be remembered. We love you.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo C. Hernandez, Jr., brother, Marcos C. Hernandez, and sister, Eloise H. Botello and one niece Melissa H. Botello.

She is survived by her loving mother; Elida Clark Hernandez, three sisters; Maria Trinidad, Jo Ann and Sandra Lynn Hernandez, all of Corpus Christi, Texas, four brothers; Lorenzo (Larry) III, John Christopher of Corpus Christi, Texas; Gilbert C. Hernandez of South Carolina and Fernando (Susan) Hernandez of Handover Pennsylvania, Nephew and niece; David A. Hernandez, Mark A. Meza, Marcos Hernandez, Jr., of Corpus Christi, Texas, Marcus, Leticia, Joseph Michael Botello of Austin, Texas, Kristina Louise and Rowland Hernandez of Pennsylvania and two great nephews, Xavier Botello of Austin, Texas and Elijah A. Hernandez of Corpus Christi and Brianna Marie Hernandez, (pet), uncle; Fernando Clark of Houston, Texas, aunts; Aurora Zambrano of Houston, Texas and Rosa Cruz of Robstown, Texas.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Cathedral on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Services will conclude at that time.
