Mary Jane Duarte

Mary Jane was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of crafting, gardening, and traveling especially to visit her grandchildren who lovingly called her Mamaw. She had a passion for living life to the fullest, being a risk taker, and seeking adventure. She was everyone’s favorite.

She is reunited with her father, Martin Saenz Arriola.

She leaves her loving memories to her beloved husband of 41 beautiful years, Robert Duarte; mother, Maria Arriola; her children, Lori Duarte (Joshua Kawinski), Adam Duarte, Aaron Duarte (Sara Blodgett), Linda Benavides (Julio); grandchildren, Rian, Emma, Evan, Jacob, Chloe, Lola, Leo; siblings, Sylvia Vasquez (Andres), Martha Bolaños, Paul Arriola (Angelica), Jo Ann Hernandez (Louie); and other loving family and friends.

Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
