Maria Vicenta Perez passed away January 2, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born on April 5, 1930 in Corpus Christi, TX. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Adan Silva Perez; one sister, Delores Figueroa; three brothers, Charles, Robert and Joe Castañon and her parents, Trinidad and Olivia Castañon. She is survived by one sister, Carmen Cisneros from Santa Ana, California; one brother, Arnold of Corpus Christi, TX; three nieces, Rachel Lara, Christina Maza and Vera Morales of Corpus Christi, TX, several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. Chapel services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 12:30 pm with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37.
