Maria P. Luna

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ricardo G. Luna; siblings, Dora Perez Rodriguez, Evangelina Perez Robles and Thomas Perez; and nephew, Leandro Eduardo Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her children, Sylvia P. Luna (Jerry) and Barbara Luna (Linda); grandchildren, Jimmy Gorman Carrizales, John Richard Luna (Micaela), Joshua Robert Luna Mendoza, Ruben De La Cruz Jr. (Amanda), and April Maria De La Cruz; great-grandchildren, Ian Richard Carrizales, Justin Ray and Justyn Rae De La Cruz; siblings, Abelardo Perez (Juana), Jose Roberto Perez (Rachel), and Sulema Maria Valenzuela (Alfredo).

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Gorman Carrizales, John Richard Luna, Joshua R. Luna Mendoza, Ian R. Carrizales, Ruben De La Cruz Jr., and Ruben De La Cruz Sr.

Visitation will be held at Templo La Trinidad, 719 Waco, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Templo La Trinidad on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

The Luna family would like to thank Templo La Trinidad Pastor Adan and Carmela Espinoza and congregation; Dr. A. Bonelli, Betty and Nora; Legacy Home Health and Hospice staff, Victoria Lozano, Sophie Longoria and Frank Rodriguez; and DaVita, the staff at Morgan facility.

Today is the day the lord has made. Today is the day God welcomed our Grandma into His Heavenly Gates. All is good. All is joy and praise. All is Loud! Up in Heaven as she Rejoices with the armies and armies of his Heavenly Angels! God at his throne and Heavens Angels at his feet. Maria Luna has finally come to her real home. The beginning of her real life! Grandma was an angel on this earth. Giving, loving, helping, teaching those who never heard the word of the Lord. Always showing the world what Jesus is like. And Jesus Saved her. Took care of her. Made sure she Raised her kids right! Now everything we do we do it for Grandma! A new era! A new way to show the world what Jesus is like and we do it for Grandma! No judgment, no condemnation. No hate. Just love. Just like Grandma would have when she was here. So now these tears of pain and grief are tears of joy and praise. Grandma you are now with your family, your husband and Jesus! You worked so hard. You kept the faith. And you finished the race!
