Maria Vera Vera Barnett

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Antonia Vera; twin sister, Beatrice Vera; father of her children, Eduardo S. Garcia; husband, Charles E. Barnett Jr.; daughter, Maria Irene Alvarez; brothers, Gilberto, Ramon, Pedro and Salvador Vera; sister, Elvira Vera; stepchild, Ben Barnett and step-grandchild, Sean Barnett.

She is survived by her son, Eduardo V. Garcia (Consuelo); daughter, Irma Garcia; son-in-law, Jose R. Alvarez; granddaughter, Diana Rae Alvarez; grandson, Eduardo Garcia III (Cheryl); brother, Jesus Vera; sisters, Hermelinda Vera Garcia, Janie Lopez, Bertha Soliz; stepchildren, Charles Barnett III, William Barnett, Glen Barnett and Charlotte Barnett; numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
