Margarita S. Villarreal

Margarita S. Villarreal, age 82, was called to the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born on February 25, 1933 to Antonio Peña Saenz and Lucia Guerra. She was a retired LVN and worked at several Corpus Christi hospitals. She will be most remembered for the depth of her love for her family, her willingness to comfort others and her sense of style. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Efrain Villarreal; brother, Roberto Saenz; sisters, Norma Chapa and Olga Salinas. Survivors include her son, Luis Roel Villarreal; daughter, Beatriz CoBell (James); 3 grandchildren, Roel Luis Flores (Megan), James CoBell IV and Logan Efrain CoBell; 2 brothers, Daniel Saenz (Lydia) and Antonio Saenz Jr. (Diana); 5 sisters, Elida Guerra, Barbarita Salinas, Elena Saenz, Maria Consuelo (Homero), Lucia Morales (Antonio); numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives also survive her. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Cage-Mills Funeral Director’s Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Tienditas Ranch Cemetery near Concepcion, TX.
