Margarita Lopez Soliz

Margarita Lopez Soliz was called to her eternal resting place on November 15, 2022. She was born on August 26, 1935, to Andres and Encarnacion López in Ramirez, Texas. She was married to Amador Soliz for 54 years before his passing in 2011.

Margarita is preceded in death by her husband, Amador G. Solíz; her son, Ricardo Solíz, her parents, Andres and Encarnación Lopez, her brother, Rolando López and her sister, Nilda Leal.

She is survived by her children, Anna Maria Solíz Leal, Angélica Solíz, Roel Amador Solíz (Celia), Velma Solíz-García (Joel); her daughter-in-law, Julia Solíz, her brother Andres Alvaro López (Luzdivina), sister-in-law, Paulita Lopez, sister-in-law, Olga Ortiz, and brother-in-law, Federico (Candelaria) Soliz. Margarita is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Margarita loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed gardening. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.

The family will receive condolences Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:30AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00AM with a Liturgy of the Word to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral cortege will depart the chapel for a Rite Of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
