Mr. Sandoval was an Army Veteran; he retired from AKER Gulf Marine as a welder in 2004. He enjoyed going to his ranch, riding his tractor, and caring for his goats.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Gloria M. Sandoval.
Mr. Sandoval survived by his daughter, Anne-Marie Sandoval-Barrera; grandchildren, Chloé Isabella S. Barrera and Zachary Isaiah S. Barrera and great grandson Easton Andrew B. Gomez; brother, Roberto Garcia (Elsie); son-in-law David Omar Barrera; special niece and nephew, Olivia and Roel Bayarena; special grandchildren Amanda R. Bayarena and Andrew R. Bayarena; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends; and a special “Thank You” to Benjamin Buentello for his loving support and to Dr. Tavarez and the medical staff at Doctor’s Regional Hospital ICU Unit.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 6, 2013 at Most Precious Blood at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
