Manuel Gonzalez Gamez, age 83, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011 at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria de la Luz Alfaro.
Manuel survived by his wife, Elvira Gamez of Corpus Christi; son, Manuel Gamez; daughter, Yolanda Moreno; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Josephina Fernandez, all of San Antonio.
A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. with a rosary service to be held at 3:00 p.m., that same day.
