Manley Gee Smith passed away on October 26, 2017 at the age of 100. He was born in Reese on October 2, 1917 to the late Thomas and Celia Smith. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of over 70 years, Alta E. Smith; and his daughter in law, Lu Smith. Manley leaves his loving memories to his children, Kay Sparks (Kenneth), Jerry L. Smith; grandchildren, Darrell Sparks (Kauli), Michael Sparks (Kimberly), Amy Brandt (Buddy), Mitchell Smith (Candace); great grandchildren, Kieffer Sparks, Cutter Sparks, Bentley Sparks, Bailey Brandt, Peyton Brandt; nephew, Charles Ethridge; nieces, Ruby Meritt and Juanita Parsons. Graveside Service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sunny Glen Children’s Home in his honor.
