Malvin LeBlanc of Corpus Christi was called home to the Lord at the age of 96.
He made a career in the Navy, serving in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed teaching young sailors his knowledge about Navy aircraft.
When he retired, he took on the nickname "Chief" from those who knew him.
During his retirement he loved working his ranch property with his family and visiting with his friends at Whataburger in the morning over a cup of coffee.
Malvin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie V. LeBlanc; his father, (Richard), and mother (Catherine). Malvin was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, Mae, Mary Jane, Kathleen, Richard, Nobert, Herbert, Raymond, and Glen.
He is survived by his three sons, Ron LeBlanc (Diane), Frank LeBlanc (Christie), and Marcus LeBlanc.
Malvin leaves behind four loving grandchildren, Jessica Pilcher, Nicole LeBlanc, Adam LeBlanc, and Theresa Harris; and four great-grandchildren.
Services for Malvin (Chief) will be held at a later date.
