Luis Saldivar Herrera, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on October 8, 2022.
He was born on September 19, 1948 in Taft, Texas to Aurora and Jose Reyes Herrera. He was married to his love of his life, Viola Deleon Herrera for 44 years.
Luis was an honorably discharged veteran of the Vietnam Era from 1969 to 1970. He proudly served his country. Luis worked as an Aircraft mechanic at the Corpus Christi Army Depot for nearly 30 years when he retired.
He loved football, gardening, Chevy Trucks, music and barbequing with his family and friends.
Luis is preceded in death by his Wife, Viola D. Herrera; Mother, Aurora Saldivar Herrera; Father, Jose Reyes Herrera and Sister, San Juanita H. Rivera.
He leaves his loving memories to his children, Daniel Luis Herrera, Jo Anne Herrera, Analisa Herrera Del Los Santos and Jose Luis Herrera.
Public visitation will be from 5 pm until 10pm on Thursday September 10, 2022 with a Memorial Service to held at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road Corpus Christ, Texas. Services will conclude at that time.
