Luis Alvarado Jr.

Luis graduated from Ray High School. He married the love of his life, Debbie Garcia Alvarado on September 14, 1984. He had a career in retail with Kmart for over 24 years. He also worked with a manufacturing company, Titan Support Systems Inc. for 17 years.

He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, BBQing, watching TV but most importantly spending time with loved ones. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend. He will truly and dearly be missed and never forgotten.

He is reunited with his son, Christopher Aaron Alvarado; and his sister, Yolanda Alvarado.

Luis leaves his loving memories to his beloved wife of 37 years, Debbie Garcia Alvarado; son, Luis Alvarado III (Marlene); grandchildren, Billy and Klarissa Villarreal, Claudio Quintero Jr., Bethany Flores, Nathan Vera; parents, Luis and Herminia Alvarado Sr.; the best mother in law, Luisa Garcia; special uncle, Arnold Aguirre; siblings, Joey Alvarado (Amy), Uly Alvarado, Javier Alvarado (Lisa), Nancy Peabody (Jarrod), Adela Pagano (Randy), Diana Gomez (Jarrod), Sylvia Hernandez (Tito), Gracie Alvarado, Mini Rangel (Ramsey), April Oliver (Daniel); god-daughter, Crystal Cruz; God-son, Isiah Tijerina; three brothers in law; three sisters in law; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Family will received friends on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joey Alvarado, Ulysess Alvarado, Javier Alvarado, Albert Alaniz, Rey Tijerina, Isiah Tijerina, Lisa Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Nathan Ordner, Joey Bolberg; honorary pallbearers will be Israel Garcia, Julius Deloy, Joshua Alvarado, Eli Alvarado, Bert Ayala and Ryan De La Garza.
